This is the latest version of the Lace Weave program by David Raup.

Click the “Download” button, then choose the drive/folder on your computer that you wish to download to.

After downloading, you will have to unzip the files themselves using WinZip.

This is a .pdf file which is the users manual for the Lace 2011 utility. Click the Download button, then choose the drive/folder on your computer that you wish to download to. You will need Adobe Reader to read this .pdf file. Adobe Reader is available for free from www.adobe.com.

Shwoosh is a Rag Rug Design Program designed and written by David Raup. This is freeware, easily downloaded. This is a Zip file, so after downloading it you will need to use a program like WinZip to extract the files contained in the Zip.

REMEMBER if you use this form you still need to PRINT OUT the record sheet and submit one copy for every napkin/serviette you submit. Using the electronic form just gets the info to me in a way I can use it for record keeping.

2018 Rug Design Program – Download 32-bit Version and Installation. RugDsign.exe will run on all 32-bit or higher Windows-based PCs (including Windows 10/11).

This version of the program was recompiled using Visual Basic 4.0 and does not require a lot of the excess baggage used by newer versions of software. Thus, the 32-bit version of RugDsign requires only two files: RUGDSIGN-32bit.EXE and VB40032.DLL. Both files are included in a zipped file called RugDsign-32bit.zip, along with a set of instructions in MS Word (RugManual-32bit.doc).

Procedure:
1. Unzip RugDsign-32bit.zip using a standard WinZip or some such program.

2. Make sure all 3 contained files end up in the same folder. This may be a newly created folder or one you already have.

3. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, find and double-click RugDsign-32bit.exe. This will start the program.

4. For convenience, place a shortcut to the rug program on your desktop. To do this, Select and then right-click RugDsign-32bit.exe (in My Computer), then highlight “Send to” and select Desktop (Create shortcut). This should place the RugDsign icon on your Windows desktop for easy access.

Special Note: If the program does not run or error messages result, run it as an Administrator. To do so:
a) If the program is run from the desktop (step #4 above), right-click the icon and select Run as Administrator.
b) If the program is run directly from the file in Windows Explorer or My Computer, right-click RUGDSIGN-32bit.exe and select Run as Administrator.
